Bed Bugs visit the Spa
A well known resort in North Simcoe had a comment added to their guest rating page in a national
rating service advising
that they had bedbugs.What defence can you have against a posting like this,maliciously intended or not. We can no longer
just hope nothing happens,you must be proactive. A Barrier device on the bed with nothing in it shows the guest that the room
is safe.
A $20 one time investment per bed will prevent the loss of $200 a night sale. This will also show your cleaners
if the guest brought you bugs. Anyone who travels is frequently exposed to facilities with bedbugs as 50%approximately of
motels in North America have had an incident in the last 3 years.

Happy New Year
I hope everyone had a safe holiday season.
Bed Bug Barriers
We have reviewed the current group of bed bug
trapping devices and have figured out that what is missing from the one size fits all programs is flexability.We will continue
to look for sources of bed bug traps and expect to have a comprehensive list shortly.
Property managers and resort
owners should look at the traps as proof providers for their guests that they do not have
bed bugs.
Just a reminder about ordering spray programs by April 30 to save HST.
