inside homes unless there is a serious problem to be fixed.

Bat eradication and property remediation Answers
a)not generally,however they can carry rabies,West
Nile and their harbourages are vectors of fungal bacteria.
b) Bat eclusion is simple,you just plug holes.You have to
get them out first.Thats why we do bat treatments in the fall and winter when the bats have left for the caves. We come back
to make sure they dont.
c)Observation is critical.Knowing where entry points are and the number of bats we are
dealing with. In the spring and summer we analyze the problem and make recommendations.In the fall we seal the building,clean
and disinfect the premises.
d)we set up an 2 year inspection plan to ensure that the repairs made are holding and
the premise is as tight as possible.They will always come back to where they were born,so we use bat houses as an alternate
habitat.

Rodent Control Answers
A a)Observation is critical,know you target and plug holes wherever
possible.Permenant closure is recommended but,temporary repairs including steel wool and expanding foam will do.
b)Bait Safety boxes are best.Properly placed boxes can place tempting baits in their path and stop the flow to your
house. In rural areas watch for activity around septic tanks,well and any direct lines into your home and seal them.
c)Baits are poison and should be enclosed in tamper proof containers.
d) No,we generally do this
service as complimentary add on to our home protection plan.Bait and safety boxes are
inexpensive.Its knowing where to put them that is important.
