West Nile Virus 2012
Ministry of Health have advised that this year looks exceptionally bad for WEST NILE
VIRUS.
It is highly recommended that you inspect your property and look for standing pools
of water at least until July.
Make sure all drainable pools are cleared. Non drainable standing water should be
treated with WHITE VINEGAR to prevent mosquitos laying eggs in this water. They will not lay eggs in acidic environments.
Be safe by avoiding being out in wooded areas at Dawn or Dusk the most active times.

Japanese Beetle Warning
The
Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources warn that Japanese Beetles have reached a near epidemic situation.
Leaf trees are being defoliated
in the near north and Rose bushes are under pressure. The winter will alleviate this situation, but next spring promises a
resurgence. The only effective remedy is pheromone traps.
